Project-i

Project-i is a new concept in supported facilities specifically geared towards providing accommodation & recovery/rehabilitation for anyone with alcohol/Drug dependency problems that are willing to undergo a tailor made process to achieve total abstinence.

We are dedicated to providing above and beyond what is currently available in this particular sector, whilst utilising the skills and abilities on offer from others working within the field…

Noreen Oliver (MBE) is our inspiration and mentor and we utilise her innovative approach as a catalyst for success, reaching successes above 60% in her 3 x centres that are rated in the top 4 in the UK.

To be ‘The Difference That Makes a Difference’ in our approach…

Working alongside the ‘key players’ in pursuit of excellence in service provision to organisations such as NHS, Doncaster Prison Services, General Practitioners, to name but a few.

Our vision is not to keep people in a looping system of rehabilitation but a continuim of recovery with ‘recovery champions’ being the leaders in a fresh vision towards long lasting change and results.

People that go through our tailored program will always be welcome and encouraged to come back and deliver their support as we build and maintain relationships throughout the community of Doncaster.

As guides in establishing a ‘Alcohol/Drug free life’ Project i will be providing the tools for learning and the skill-sets and competencies in areas that meet the responsibility of people who engage in their outcomes.

Project-i are actively reaching out to the potential opportunities that exist throughout different networks of service providers. We believe that the ability to work alongside other providers whilst collaborating creatively will open new pathways of choice for all the deserving individuals that enter our open doors.

Our work is modeled on and supported by Noreen Oliver (MBE) who runs 3 of the most successful recovery clinics in the UK and who’s work ethic continues to inspire us on a daily basis.

The team at Project-i are constantly networking and co-working with others to meet our shared visions. Whether that be individuals offering their time by volunteering or other larger organisations that recognise the rapid progress we are making and the results we are confident in achieving.

This along with our own in-house operating principles has become a major resource in the developmental area of assisting people as they engage in the process of bringing out the best… In themselves…

Our Project has a capacity of 50 + beds available and a mixture of shared facilities or studio flats.   Staff work at the project 24/7 are fully qualified and dedicated in terms of providing support as well as participating in their own continued professional development. CCTV surveillance is also equipped throughout our properties to monitor internal/external activities in the area.

Project-i recognise that reducing drug/alcohol related problems in the area not only as fundamental but moreover realistic consequences that will make Doncaster an even better place to live and be part of.  The importance of all individuals working together in sustaining a healthy dynamic in which each and every-one of us can take responsibility whilst maturing and developing through time.

Another major aspect of project-i comes in the form of‘move on’ accommodation in the form of (taster/training) studio flats, for people who engage in the recovery process that have been through a program of personal/professional development with us and seeking to take that next step for total abstinence.

Floating support is available both internally on a 24/7 basis (if required) and externally, as additional resources while the process of adjusting to independent living develops for our people.
